It’s the first week of March and while the rest of the country is buried under the snow, we’re fortunate enough out here in California to have great track day weather! It was a little cold at Willow Springs, but our second R&D Track Test of the year went really well.
The very first Hotchkis Track Pack equipped Mopar A-Body is Shannon Hudson’s killer green ’69 Valiant. The car used to be a pro-street drag car, but after bolting on a Hotchkis Track Pack, along with disc brakes from Right Stuff and wheels from Curtis Speed. We will have more info, track numbers and more coming soon… and look for the full install story in an upcoming issue of Car Craft!
We also tested our new C10 Suspension system. It’s incredible… using stock car style rear suspension and some truly innovative hardware. More info, videos and install pics on that coming soon as well, but it’s safe to say that this is one killer setup for sport truck owners.
The test day also played host to a wild variety of cars, including at least one of every generation Camaro, a Viper coupe, a Corvette Grand Sport, a Corvette Z06 and more. Lots of hardcore hardware, and fantastic testing throughout the day. We will have some wild new videos coming soon, but in the meantime check our new CamaroHQ blog for more updates!
